I'm torn. I said after '07 that I had no intention of going back, but then I saw the lineup for this year, and now I'm really thinking I need to go! I have just enough of my tax refund left to cover our two tickets, but I was planning to save that for an emergency. Plus, I would have to think about other expenses, particularly the cost of boarding two dogs.
We have to board the dog also - you and Josh should come - it will be fun!

Me just became unemployed yesterday. Sucks. This has totally disrupted my intentions on going to Roo. I'm gonna end up loathing my friends who bought tickets early or on time if i can't go. I just hope it doesn't sell-out for at least two-three months.

Sadly I will not be making it this year. I am swimming in evil credit card debt, and I have a one year old. Keeping him fed and clothed is more important than 4 days with 80,000 of my best friends. I'll be there in spirit however. I am especially bummed to miss the Beastie Boys, I saw them in 2004 in Tampa for the Pageant Tour, and it was awesome. I hope everyone else has a great time this year. I'll start saving my pennies for next years fest!

It's going to be tough, but I think I can slice it. I'm gonna have to lower my current standard of living til June. The wife won't be thrilled with this.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
I work for the state here and waiting to find out if I have a job. That being said if my husband can get the days off we're going. Grandma and Grandpa have agreed to watch the kids and other than tickets the only thing we'd need to buy is food and drink.

ive been wanting to go since 04 and wanted to go with a large group, but only a select few of my friends like the music at roo and they all are cheap. im finally spending the money this year and going with one other person, even though i should be saving for rent/bills/groceries, etc. oh well!
