""Langerado has always put the fan experience first."
right...which is why you moved a perfectly accessible camping fest to one of the most expensive cities in the nation, and did on the same week as spring break.

This is insane! Can't believe the ticket sales are so bad that they actually have to cancel the festival altogether though. I guess everybody who fell in love with their first Langerado at Big Cyprus said feck the city and will now be in Hampton that weekend
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they're already looking to book 2010 at Big Cyprus again to recover.

Wait, did I miss something but what did being on the Rado line up have anything to do with not being able to play Roo before? They're completely different months, and I really doubt many of the bands were like "no, just one festival in miami is enough for us on our tour this summer"

ah strum, we all are just on a what if we could get them kick...Then you come in with rational thought......buzz kill
So Bonnaroo will defintely have some overflow if those folks are getting refunds. If I was refunded you can bet your a$$ I would be getting in on the next best (in this case better) festival.

Ha! I didn't mean to be a buzzkill... I want a lot of turnovers from Langerado too!
I have a feeling they'll have a wave of additions dedicated to the electronica scene since that appears to be the only thing lacking from this line up at the time, and a couple of these bands will be coming from Langerado. I'd love to get The Faint, The Egg, Umph, Bisco, Lotus, and Thievery Corp on the farm... just off the top of my head what I remember being on Langerado's lineup
i dont really get the "other festivals picking up langerado bands" thing... langerado was supposed to be held in march... if roo or any other festival wanted to book the same bands it wouldnt have mattered and they could have done so.
My post was mostly a joke... it was joke saying Langerado went under because of how awesome Roo's gonna be this year... like, we're carpet bagging their bands or something.
I'm not real surprised. The lineup was good but a little weird, and they moved it to a bad location. There's probably more to the story but it just seems like whoever was running the thing had a total change of vision. Both the lineup and the location shift seemed to be a 180 change in philosophy.
