So basically, this year is way too epic for me to miss. Unfortunately, Bonnaroo falls so closely between my finals week and a summer intensive language program that I am planning on doing. The only real way I would be able to do all these things is flying to the Roo. So I have a few questions for some people who have done this in the past:
1. Is it easy to do? Does Roo provide any type of transportation from airports to the festival?
2. Is it fairly easy to get a spot at the tent only camp ground? I would obviously not have a car and would want to camp there as an added bonus.
3. Think it would be easy to get out of there on Sunday if I needed to?
I think it drops you off at Tent Only but doesn't leave on Sunday.
If you rent a car you should be able to get out on Sunday but no guarantees. You could be blocked in. Or you could park in Day Parking and hike to Tent Only. Much easier and better just to stay 'til Monday.
It was incredibly easy to get a spot in tent only last year. There was tons of space until Saturday morning. People could have even fit tents in near to us on Saturday night and Sunday.
Then again, attendance is almost definitely going to be higher this year, so it could fill up quicker.
