I gotta say, I was very impressed with the whole festival. No major logistical failures, good outdoor stage/tent setup (reminded me of the Roo), the weather cooperated, and there were great crowd vibes considering it was a metal show. And it was FREE!
My only complaint is that the bouncers refused to let me into Harvey Milk (for those of you unfamiliar w/ doom metal, I'm not referring to the assasinated gay politician...)
they tried to keep me out of Converge but finally felt sorry for me and let me in

WHAT.THE.FU*K. No formal L.A. date? Motherfucking Coachella. The set there would pale in comparison to an actual headlining gig. Well maybe they will roll into L.A. before Coachella and play a surprise show somewhere.....maybe.
