I was just over on the Bonnaroo Listserv page and read that Cat's Music is out and Newbury comics are in as the music retailer for Bonnaroo this year. I am actually happy that the promoters went with a smaller chain than something like FYE or Best Buy. I have been to Newbury stores in Boston a few times and I was pleased with the the selection they had. Here is the link if anyone wants to read what was said:
Newbury... wow that's a cool decision. I hope they can get some of the crew that Tower had hired to run the signings from last year for a great combo. They should have some of the power/stock that the bigger retailers can bring to the table as well as the indie vibe that's needed. A good organization.
