had to give my man Andrew Bird some love too. I was in a crowd at his show when I first saw the line up, and I must say it was rather comforting knowing that I would be seeing him again soon enough in a festival atmosphere.
Other than that, Phish was the overall dealbreaker for me. If they weren't on the line up I would have been struggling with buying a ticket. The Mars Volta was a huge plus, and honestly Bruce being on the line up is cool only because I'll never see him otherwise and it'll be a good feeling to say I was able to see him in my life.

The biggest deal for me as a Nashville area native is that my favorite band The Mars Volta does not/has not/will never come to Nashville. I've seen them numerous times and everytime have had to travel to New York, or Atlanta, or Ohio to see them.
Of course Bonnaroo '05 was a Mars Volta year for me too. Not that I would ever miss Bonnaroo for any reason, but TMV makes it for me any year that they are on the list.
