I'm going to see Ryan Adams and the Cardinals in Jacksonville on March 9th. I've become a pretty big fan of his, but I've never seen him live. Does he draw from his solo work, as well as the Cardinals stuff? How is he live? Thanks
These days Ryan draws mostly on his work with The Cardinals. You will hear alot of staples (Come Pick Me Up & The Rescue Blues, come to mind) from the solo years but as of late it's been the output of Cold Roses on. He's alot of fun and you'll have a blast,I'm sure.

Had a nice mix of solo and cardinals stuff. I was hoping for more stuff from Cold Roses when I saw him a few months ago with the Cards but definitely got a bunch of good tunes. When I saw him it was a nice mix. below is the setlist from September with the Cardinals (Syracuse NY):
1. Cobwebs 2. Two 3. Come Pick Me Up 4. Magick 5. When The Stars Go Blue 6. Fix It 7. Sun Also Sets 8. Off Broadway 9. Go Easy 10. La Cienega Just Smiled 11. Freeway to the Canyon Set Break 12. Crossed Out Name 13. Blue Hotel 14. Everybody Knows 15. Wonderwall 16. Like Yesterday 17. Cold Roses 18. This is It (rock style) 19. You Don’t See Me Crying 20. Oh My God Whatever Etc. 21. This House is Not for Sale 22. Peaceful Valley 23. Monsters
