Gauging interest in a caravan this year from Nola/BR. Would like to see everyone's plan as far as departure time, etc.
Maybe it would be better, maybe not. I flew in to TN last year, so this'll be my first drive there. It could make the trip a little longer, but it would definitely be beneficial to have backup along the way, and possibly have some locals to camp next to.

A caravan eh? Well im in Jackson, not quite NOLA but close enough If you end up coming this way id join you, but I think theres another route that misses Jackson more convenient for ya. If thats the case we could just end up meeting say in Meridian or Birmingham or Manchester (ha) and make a train of cars.
Not sure what the route from Jackson is, but from Nola we take 59 all the way up to TN. Looks like the same for Jackson.
Basically anyone coming from LA, MS, and AL (at least from Birmingham) can meet up for a convoy, but I imagine that would be most difficult to coordinate.

Yea it can be done, may be easier to just meet up at Wal-Mart in Manchester though. Its the pre-roo party and surprised the hell out of me last year, couldn't believe how many people where there.

My friends and I will be caravaning again, there's gonna be two or three cars. Last year we only had two. But we haven't made any plans about when we'll be leaving and such yet.
It would probably be best for a Nola/BR meet to be where I-12 meets I-59, since going from BR to Nola would probably add time and going from Nola to BR would probably be backtracking. But I'm not sure.
