So who here is a past veteran RV goer?
I was thinking about renting a big one with some friends, they were actually very cheap if you reserve one ahead of time, i was pretty shocked. I've been to B-Roo's '07 and '08 in the camping only section.
I felt the numerous pangs of the tent section, such as getting rained all your possessions and food. Also having to pay $7 to have freezing cold water dripped on you....er a shower. Getting woken up due to feverish sweats induced by the blazing sun at 8 A.M. which your tent only acts as a giant piece of green house death foil to help the roasting further.
I felt like I've payed the dues in that department and want to have the RV experience. The shower and fridge make the extra purchase seem worth it alone. I'm really sick of paying exhorbitant prices for, what is the most part, really nasty food.
All the RV'ers, in my experience of meeting folks, always come off as happier at Roo. I guess because they don't have to wallow in the mud every night.
Either way. Was the RV exeperience good/bad/worth it in general?
