oh yeah i remember dales now. no not free beer its kinda weird the way they do it. you buy tickets, for X amount of money and its something like two tickets = a full beer and one = a small sample of that beer. the beer is all micro brews from around the country so its a break from the bud light everywhere else in centeroo.
edit: just remember there was some Rogue there last year too, i hope that comes back
I was hugely disappointed with the Brewers Tent in '08. Maybe it's cause we went on Sunday early afternoon, but there wasn't much selection and what I had was not to my liking. Although I was surprised by my enjoyment of Sweetwater 420 since I do not enjoy pale ales.
Plenty of things are free at Bonnaroo. Unfortunately, the beer is not. However, the micros in the brooers tent cost the same as the Bud Lite (etc) sold elsewhere, so the decision is pretty easy.
I've been wanting to check this out every year I've gone, unfortunately I'm not 21. But I will be next sunday so I definitely plan on hitting up the B'Rooers Tent this year.

If you walked from Which Stage directly to This Tent and veered off to the right a bit before passing the Mushroom Fountain than you would be in the area of Broo'ers Tent....Its large, has a sign, and a little seating area inside and outside

from my experience, age doesnt really matter.
I tried to get in last year and they checked my ID. Even when I tried to talk them into letting me in by saying I didn't have my ID on me but I was 21 and all that, they still wouldn't let me go in.

wow. Ive never seen them check anyones ID. I have a friend that went with me in 07, and bought a whole bunch of beer, and he was only 18. Actually even looks younger than that.
I'm actually kind of young looking myself, and they've never questioned me.

that is funny that you got carded, that is unheard of for me. i dont/didnt look 21 last year but i was, and if they asked me for ID i would probably just look at them like are you fucking serious dude? be assertive, tell them you are 21 and that you want a beer, period. its not like theyre running a pub that is at risk of being shut down if they serve to minors.
Thats what I kept hearing so I tried to get in. And I actually look like I could be 21. I've bought from local liquor stores plenty of times without getting carded. I was baffled. When I couldn't get into the tent I just walked over to a regular beer stand and bought a beer from them.

at 'Roo last year (when I was 20) I was buying beers all the time. One night before PJ a kid who had to be 15 years (looked really young) old tops came up to me and asked me to buy him a beer. I told him to give it a shot himself because they weren't carding, and if he got rejected I would go up and get him one. Sure enough, the kid was granted a beer.
