the join was quite possibly my favorite set of last year...they were on point!
and yea roofan, you're totally right, its like that fog was just waiting for that point in time to envelop everything in a surreal like atmosphere ...amazing
Strum, I'm seriously thinking about it now... I can pick up an extra shift and take the tips from that day alone and just put them back and have plenty of money... I just worry about being too shy >.< I guess after the first little while I'd be alright. I kinda like wandering around 'Roo by myself anyway... Man.. I'm getting excited now ;D

I am ultra shy... but I'm not worried about it, I'm sure I'll warm up to you guys pretty quickly
If Phishx2 wasn't at 'Roo I think it's possible I would cash in my 'Roo ticket and hit up All Good plus another smaller festie... Sasquatch, Camp Bisco, Waka, Summer Camp...
Great pics strum. For what it is worth I saw Boombox here in Knoxville at a small club. I really enjoyed them. Zion Godchaux (guitar and vocals) is the son of Donna and Keith Godchaux who played with the Grateful Dead. Can't wait!
I asked some of the guys from Jazzam about playing allgood this year, and all they could tell me was that their manager told them it was 'hopeful'. I know I have my fingers crossed for them they kick ass

I'm going to continue whoring the shyt outta this thread. This is by far the most solid line up I have seen yet this summer. I can honestly say I am absolutely ecstatic for 90% of the bands appearing so far... and there's still more to be announced! I had lowered my expectations of the caliber of additions, but then this 3rd round came out of nowhere and proved me wrong!
(Superfly... take note. Surpassing expectations is clutch )
Ben Harper and RELENTLESS7 Bob Weir & RatDog moe. STS9 Umphrey's McGee Dark Star Orchestra Robert Randolph & the Family Band Yonder Mountain String Band Les Claypool Keller Williams Galactic Lotus Tea Leaf Green Buckethead The Bridge SOJA Bassnectar Steve Kimock Crazy Engine Donna the Buffalo BK3 featuring Bill Kreutzmann, Oteil Burbridge & Scott Murawski The New Mastersounds Todd Snider BoomBox Jackie Greene AOD Jeff Austin and Brendan Bayliss Lake Trout Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk Hill Country Revue Cornmeal Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue Fear Nuttin' Band That 1 Guy

weird.....jambase article says that this finalizes the lineup.......but all good site still says more to be announced. pretty cool. wish i had more money. the lineups at all festivals are crazy this year. all good, rothbury, gathering of the vibes........i want to go to all of thems

Yeah now that the initial elation of the adds has passed, I'm thinking that the only additions that might be left are the contest winners that open up the festie early on thursday. This was Jazzam last year, if I'm not mistaken, right?
I can only hope that they entered the contest again
Either way, I completely agree that all the festies are going big this summer. The only exception I can think is Cancelarado

i agree, even the mostly jam band fests are making me take a 2nd look this year. i can only go to 2 fests though. roo and either voodoo, acl or lolla, probably voodoo.

strum you are not the only one thinking this lineup is the best from top to bottom.
there are more bands here that im more excited for then roo and bury and the lineup is half the size.
checkout cornmeal for sure. i haven't found any studio albums i really love from them, but i did see them live for the first time a couple weeks back and they quackin rock. bluegrass with some deep grooves. the beautiful lady that plays the fiddle sucks you in on every song. she is sexy...with her fiddle up there....just fiddlin' away.
Bonnaburygood!
Edit: plus it seems every band that i am worried about having conflicts with at roo or bury are going to be at allgood, where you don't have to miss nuts
any speculation on who the late nights will go to? i'm thinking bassnectar and sts9 will probably do one night, but its hard to say when i've never been here before. also torn between moe. or galactic for the other late night.
STS9 will get one latenight, Umphreys will get the other... which leaves the question of where DSO will be..
DSO closed the festival out in....04 i believe? although i'd like to see them play another epic latenight like last year, as of now I think theyll play on sunday. That is unless there are more additions...
