Hey Everybody! The GPS thread got me thinking about this week's tip.... It's a tough one to think about, especially for all my bro's and sis's in the Northern climates.... but for real.....
It's time to start getting in shape! Turn those abs from flab to fab! Break out those boots made for walkin'! Those buns are not yet made of steel.... now are they?
There's not much time to get on this one so I suggest you put down the guac and chicken fingers and start today. There are yoga/workout videos available on youtube and hulu. Start there if it's still too cold outside.
The reason I bring this up is I calculated how far I walked last year just getting to and from Centeroo..... I was in BFE, a 45 minute 2ish mile walk to Centeroo. 2miles each way X 5 round trips per day= 20 miles. 20 miles X 4 days= 80 freakin miles!

Finally starting to get warm enough to get my walks in. I want to be in much better shape this year than last. I did OK in '08, but I'm not counting on 82 degree weather again either. Been doing an hour a day, and will keep that up till mid May where I'll do an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.
edit: Chicken fingers and guac aren't a problem. It's the new cheesecake factory that just opened across the street from me... You I HAVE NO DADDY!

AND that's why I started my Bonnaroo fitness plan yesterday. Yoga plus Couch to 5K running plan (plus some time on the wii fit and a healthier diet )
