Wondering if anyone is willing to weigh in on this argument.... some of my group thinks it is a better drive via Buffalo NY and head down through Ohio and KY through Nashville to Manchester. The rest prefer going through Scranton PA, all the way down I81 past Knoxville - thoughts...?
I'm coming from R.I.... and I was planning on staying over in Scranton on Tuesday night (I need to work on Tuesday... grrr), then going ALL the way down I-81 to get to the Phish show in Knoxville on Wednesday night. I've gone down 81 through Southern Virginia anyway, and it's a pretty quick ride. I think I can make it from Scranton to Knoxville in 10 hours...

Thanks all for the responses. I've always been of the opinion that I-81 is the best bet, so we will stick with this route. My 20-year old, knows-everything, son, thinks the route through Buffalo is best, so it's nice to have some back up on this. Looks like I'll beat him to the farm this year! See you there.....
