i still think the cinema and comedy tents moved up, as opposed to the Which stage moving down, although I hope its the latter.
From me looking at the differences in the map to last year's. If you use the fountain as a reference point, the Other tent got moved up further north, same goes for This tent which is now above the fountain slightly. This might explain why the cinema and comedy tents seem to have moved further north.
Now this may just be a scaling issue with different artist drawing up the map but it's something to think about
E: I guess I totally skipped over ZIG's last post. I suppose they can't move the tents, damn.
I went back and compared my 2015 map with the 2016 map on the Bonnaroo app to determine the noticeable differences in the camping sites this is what I found:
1. Near the west tollbooth, Day Parking has taken over some of the space for Groop Camping. So Day Parking looks larger while Groop Camping looks smaller.
2. Camp Serge in the accessibility area near the clock tower is missing.
3. Camp Long Duk Dong, Camp Andrew Clark, and Camp John Bender are all missing from the top of Pod 8.
4. All other camping zones appear to be the same North of Bushy Branch Road.
5. At the moment, if you get stuck camping north of bushy Branch Rd, you won't have Pod 8 and 9 locations for those extra amenities.
6. Family Camping is not listed near Pod 7.
7. Camp Adrian near Tent Only appears to be smaller, with a blank green space above it.
8. VIP accessibility camping just to the east of Tent Only appears to have moved further South (switching places with 2015 VIP Tent City). Looks like this allowed them to combine 2015 VIP Tent only and Tent City Glamping into LeBon Tents VIP for 2016.
9. Pod 1 appears to have turned into Croo Camping.
10. I didn't bother looking at potential changes to Centeroo because I have a feeling that the scale of the map makes it more difficult to accurately gauge those changes and my guess is the only major change would be the Ferris Wheel shifting slightly to accommodate the bathrooms in that area.
One Note: My 2015 doesn't have a Pod 5 listed, so I'm curious if anyone camped in that area in 2015 and if there was a Pod 5 but just not listed on the map or if they truly didn't have the Pod 5 area last year as well. I figure this might help us know if the Pod 8 and Pod 9 areas are actually gone this area or if they are just missing from 2016 Map.
In conclusion: Much of the camping area has remain unchanged. Pod 1 turning completely into Croo Camping, camp sites in the old Pod 8 going away, smaller Groop Camping, and larger Day parking though clearly show less need for camping spaces.

I really don't know, but after glancing at the 2015 map I thought it looked like Groop expanded to the north while giving up space to day parking. Or did it actually go all the way to Bushy Branch before? And Croo camping occupies only a small portion of the departed Pod 1, rather than the whole thing. Centeroo looks as though it may have lost the bottom left corner, forcing the comedy and cinema tents to move a bit, but I won't speculate any more than that.
My groop site in '13 was right next to bushy branch so groop has extended that far north since '13.
Ah, thanks. Now I see that I was confused because the map I found randomly online was marked "2015 Bonnaroo Map," is actually the 2012 map. Now it makes sense.

The Which Stage definitely didn't get moved back. There is no more space behind it. There is a large area behind it for artist buses, and then the media/radio compound which can't be moved any furthe rback. The Cinema Tent and Comedy Tent absolutely got moved up.

Which I guess would be our explanation as to why the Silent Disco has been moved towards Which

The worst part of them moving the comedy/cinema/silent disco forward is there is no bathroom icon behind that vip tent. That was always my go to bathroom, there was never anyone back there.

Oh man, hadn't noticed that yet. That was always my go to one as well.
Y'all are crazy, there is a bathroom icon a little bit further back behind the VIP tent. Its in front of the Cinema tent.n (That little blue two person icon is the bathroom icon)

I don't think so? That's where it is last year, and it's missing from this year's map

This may have already been touched on, but I'm at work and honestly don't have the time to read through everything...
Did anyone notice that the only spot for showers is in VIP? Is that just showing that those are the only permanent showers? Has the map always been like that?
I can assume that I'll have access to the jank shower pods in GA, right? Lol.

there are showers at every pod
Not every, just most according to their email:
Showers can be found at most POD locations, indicated on your festival map. Showers are operated and cleaned by our very own shower fairies during hours of operations: Wednesday from 9 pm - 12 am at PODs 1, 3 and 10, and at all PODS from 6 am - 2 am on Thursday - Sunday, and 6 am - 11 am on Monday. Showers cost $10 during peak hours (daily between 6 am - 2 pm and 6 pm - 10 pm) and thanks to our friends at KOHLER® we offer $5 “happy hours” during off-peak hours (daily from 2 pm - 6 pm and 10 pm - 2 am).

Seriously. I almost reached out to them last year to volunteer to help them with their communications process. (I have no experience, mind you.)
They are so bad at communicating on so many platforms. It's like they've taken the joke of their tent and stage names and applied it as a business model.
They put out tons of conflicting information, they change policies with reckless disregard for impact, and they fail to use their resources efficiently. And they do the whole thing arrogantly and alienate their attendees.
I have no idea how they got to year fifteen. (Nor do I know why I'm going back for year thirteen!)

seriously, it should all be pretty simple:
1. assign a staff person to draw up a full list of bonnaroo policies and develop a draft list 2. draft is reviewed by a senior staff/manager/small committee, updates made by staff accordingly 3. draft is presented to full team for review, updates made by staff accordingly 4. final product
then copy and paste this exact language on all your communications: website, info sent with tickets, maps, booklets, whatever. all the same policies stated the exact same way. give this to your customer service people to answer questions from. consistent consistent consistent. take a little pride in your quality control bonnaroo.
EDIT: oh and of course have your legal/insurance people review the draft as appropriate.

Lockn is even worse.
Maybe so but they're like four years in and on a much, much smaller scale.
