Inspiring lyrics:
Big Bottom: My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo. I love to sink her with my pink torpedo! Big bottom, big bottom, talk about bum-cakes... my girl's got 'em. Big bottom, drive me out of my mind. How can I leave this... behind?

"This pretentious ponderous collection of religious rock psalms is enough to prompt the question, 'What day did the Lord create Spinal Tap, and couldn't he have rested on that day too?'"
Alright, so I was listening to an interview with Harry Shearer on the radio this morning, and he said it won't technically be Spinal Tap, but rather just the three of them without the costumes and wigs, doing some Spinal Tap songs, some songs from A Mighty Wind, et cetera. Regardless, I'm pretty confident it's going to rock my socks off.

Good stuff! I think they played every song you might hope they would play and then some (they did a 2 hour set with a couple of encores). They did a bit where they read an NBC guy's preliminary edits that he said were needed for This Is Spinal Tap to be shown at 11:30 on a Saturday night. Freakin' hilarious! And I got Harry Shearer's autograph (but not Michael McKean's or Christopher Guests because we didn't really expect the opportunity, and we didn't come prepared. Next time I go to a show, I'm going to make sure and bring a Sharpie, just in case!)

Nothing off of the new album, but they did mention that it was coming out. Most of the stuff was very familiar, with a couple of songs that only got a tiny snippet in This Is Spinal Tap (Thamesmen songs, mostly). There was also one that was written for Waiting For Guffman that didn't make it into the movie.
