if you haven't heard about it, a double cd compilation is being released tomorrow (2/17) called 'dark was the night'. it has a lot of present and past bonnaroo artists and proceeds go to help to fight aids. all exclusive tracks. and the disc names seem oddly 'roo-ish.

no problem. it was a toss-up between this forum and troo since there are a lot of bands on the CDs playing this year.
yesterday the national guys hosted a show on xm and played most, if not all, of it and threw in some interesting info between tracks. they said the yeasayer song was going to be on a single, but they convinced them to let them have it to raise money for a good cause. makes me like those guys even more.
and amazon currently has it for $10 if you're interested.
