It's not as straight-forward as the earlier you get there, the farther away you are, BUT it seems to be a definite that if you get there on Wednesday you'll be really far away. Other than that, there's pretty much no way to figure it out.

I emailed access at Bonnaroo last year about this same situation because we thought we would go on in on Wednesday. I was informed that if the gates are open and they are letting people in and you have the proper documentation to be in access - then that is where they will put you.
