I thought the mail was $229 for earlybird. Not that I'm going to fight about a 10 dollar difference in price, but that was about the same price as lastyear.
If this seems high, what is the average price for festivals? I've only ever been to Roth, and Roo in USA

AllGood, Wakarusa, and most other small fests charge about 170 after everything. Rothbury looks like the price is going to work out to exactly the same or within ten dollars of Bonnaroo. So like I said if they are gonna charge that much I hope they put out a comparable lineup to Bonnaroo.
I agree they are going to cost about the same, so to me it is very lineup dependent, or would be if they had a lineup out . I guess it is understandable with all the trouble they went through. If they have lineup that is as good as Bonnaroo, without being a duplicate of it. I will have to think about it sure. If the wacky two nights of the Dead/SCI reunion rumor is true, I will be venturing up to Yankeeland for sure.

i hope the two nights of dead and SCI is 100% wrong because there is 0% chance of me going to Roth this year. my friends are gonna be getting married on the 4th, and this is the only thing preventing me from buying a ticket to Rothbury.
I hate it when people bring up other festivals for no reason.
I've only ever been to a few festivals in the States. Its interesting to hear what others cost because really, for us paying close to $600 for a pair of tickets is pretty dern good for us. When you take into account the 4 days of music, and parking, camping included, its pretty good.
I bought a pair of tickets recently for Mountain Jam, and got the 1st tier tickets and the total was $321. Pretty dern great if you ask me.
