All right I havent been to roo since 06, have not cared for the lineup at all since then really. I was waiting out for rothbury because the environment looked really nice and chill there. Anyways an hour ago I was just informed that my bonnaroo ticket had all ready been mailed to me at half price...? So I guess a friend of mine (we were hammered talking about going to bonnaroo...he just acted..) knew a guy about an hour south of the farm. Apparently locals get discounted tickets at half price? OR something along those lines I was told? So anyways apparently phish phans have been buying up tickets, I dont really care to see phish(Dont hurt me!) so if you guys are broke or cant get a hold of a ticket, you can always try a contact if you guys have one in the area, or maybe asking around on the board I'm not 100%. Either way if the rothbury lineup is anything like last year, I might have a few cheap tickets to sell.. and NO I didnt make this post to sell a ticket.. I'm just saying worse comes to worse.. But check that out before you guys give up......as a final note....springsteen...really? superbowl wasnt bad enough? Where's bon jovi? All right I said my peace.
Garth Algar: Do you ever get the feeling Benjamin's just using us?
Wayne Campbell: Good call. It's like he wants us to be liked by everyone. I mean Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees.
Well I don't think that is exactly how it works based on what our infomods who live across the street have said. I would say it is fact though that you do not have a ticket in the mail, I highly doubt they have been printed yet. As far as Bruce goes he is not my favorite, but he does deserve a lot of respect, Bon Jovi even in their heyday were nowhere close to the highest grossing tour for that year.
Also I don't think a lot of phans are buying Bonnaroo tickets just for Phish, you can get a Deer Creek lawn seat for 109 on stubhub at the moment. Anyway sorry you are not a roo fan anymore I hope Roth works out for you. You should try the infobury board they are all about that fest there.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

Well you can say what you want but I'm just going off of the details I have been given. I still love roo... I'm just starting to get into the smaller festivals now... it just seems more cozy and friendly. Plus once you have trekked across the farm one side to the other and back(lost my car), you sort of welcome the idea and nearly camping out front a stage. Nothing like the sea of people and cars like at roo though. But effin wow next time I'll keep any good info to myself, cause apparently some people know everything. I dont know the exact details but I have been told at the inforoo camp by someone living near that people in a certain distance get free or discounted tickets. All I can do is keep my hopes up for a shiny ticket or some sort of confirmation at least.
There are certainly discounted tickets for residents of Manchester, a smaller group that is very close to the farm gets free tickets. All I said is that yours were not in the mail because I doubt they were printed yet. Also I disputed the fact that Phish fans are buying all the Bonnaroo tickets, namely because of the availability of tickets to their other shows for much less than Bonnaroo. Finally I disputed that you did not go in 07, because according to your posts you obviously did. While I don't know everything I am fairly sure of those three.

Man your all about it huh? I just thought roo might sell out with phish playing there, because of the multiple posts all over the boards about lots of shows being sold out. I really dont know too much about phish. And your right I did go in 07, I thought it was 06, but what the hell does have to do with anything? Did I even mention anything that would even imply I went to 07 though? Unless you actually went into my profile history, which leads to why are you trying to analyze and criticize every sentence I wrote? What the f*** did I do to you? I wasnt going to say anything but I mean cmon, the motive behind this whole thing was to help out a few people who might be able to take advantage of the situation, but instead its just flaming
Jess is right. The free tickets are for people living very very close to roo.My sister lives about 4 miles away and there are no free tickets for them for that. The free ones for the close roo neighbors are a 'will call' type thing with a pre-set list of names - no tickets are sent.I have never heard of discount tickets. Most years the local radio station (Fantasy 101.5) buys some at the first price and does cell them to locals right before roo.

Well I guess in a few days I'll find out whats up. I havent paid anything yet but it would suck because I got my hopes up. It would be nice not to volunteer for once so I could actually have the whole time to myself.
Nobody has flamed you, and yes I did go to your history to see if you had always been a troll or not. (See thats a flame)
The point is your original post was filled with inaccuracies, and almost everyone of the legitimate points you made have been discussed to death in 30 other threads on the board.
A. My ticket is in the mail half price from a guy who lives an hour south of the farm
Well Chattanooga residents don't really get a discount, and no one has tickets in the mail. If local tickets came out this early we would have seen pictures, and some of our friendly locals would have told us.
B So anyways apparently phish phans have been buying up tickets
Well you admitted later you didn't really know anything about phish or their ticket sales, however in your original post you made it sound like you did
C All right I havent been to roo since 06, have not cared for the lineup at all since then really.
Well your recent ten implies that you went in 07 not a big deal, but it does not really do a lot for your credibility.
So there you go you got hate for posting a thread filled with inaccuracies and the points you made that were accurate belong in the other tents, however if you did that they would be redundant because it has all been discussed 50 times over.

Not to mention this whole thread is gonna get deleted as soon as a mod sees it because you imply that you are going to sell your admittedly at this point imaginary tickets, and the first guideline of the board would be.
-No ticket selling will be tolerated, we do not want to get shut down by the promoters of the event
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
Yo shenangians thansk man, your tryin to spread some good vibes and help some people out, dont worry about that guy Jess he is like the board nazi. Just make sure you follow guidelines and shit before you post, that way he doesnt get a boner. I think thats probably the best way to get on his nerves.
