i also have a pretty big 7 person tent as well as an ez-up, and there are only 2 of us but its all we have...however we are flying in and going straight to tent only, our flight gets to nashville at 8am and i assume well get to the farm around 930-10 by shuttle, so i think we'll be ok hopefully!

every year we take a screen room big enough to fit both our tents inside of. great way to beat the morning heat and with a few tarps, we've survived the worst downpours. never a problem with having enough space, just ignore the parking nazis...

Yeah, those parking nazis get a little crazed. As long as everyone stays calm, lord knows we've all been holed up in the car for hours and have to pee. First things first, get out and say Hi! to the people around you. Then set up. Be respectful and help each other out.
And please mark your guy lines. Nothing worse than tripping over those babies at 3am.
Ahh this thread makes me kind of nervous. I'm not sure how big the tent we're using is but we're also bringing an EZ-up. But I guess if your neighbors are nice and you share the shade, they might not mind, right?
The space listed on the website is nowhere near what you get. At leat in my case we've always had room for everything. In 06 we had three tents and two shade tents. We only had one car. That was the best camp site because we were right alongside the tree line over by POD 9. The only downside to that is that we had this giant black bus next to us. It was so loud when it was running and it smelled.
I would be very surprised if you didn't have enough room for all of your gear.
I'm bringing a 12x14 cabin style tent for 4-5 people, but we are arriving in 2 vehicles. So our plan was to just park together and stake out our claim in front of the two cars. As far as the air mattress question, buy yoursef an a.c. converter that runs on your cars lighter plug to power the air pump. (maybe $20 bucks at Wal Mart) Problem solved!
in the three years i've gone, i've never had an issue with space. we've been in BFE and seriously right next to the entrance and it didn't matter.
just be practical about it. if you've only got two people, you shouldn't have a 10 person tent and 3 EZ ups. if you've got a couple of cars together, you should have more than enough room.
K-mart sells a decent little 2-3 person tent for $35, frequently on sale for $25-30. I think the dimensions are about 6x8. The tent I'm bringing, that is spacious for two people + gear is 8x10.
My last GA campsite had a 4-person tent, a 12x12 screen house, AND a separate shower tent. I went solo that year, and nobody complained about me having that much stuff. It was kinda tight, but it was worth it!
As you can see, if you put the shower tent between the two rows of cars, it increases your privacy since few people are walking thru there. It's also convenient if you (like I did) put a portable camp potty in there. You never get lost stumbling back from the portos in the dark because your bladder woke you up! Best $40 investment ever!!!
