Yea you're probably right. They are about the same size as Animal Collective was last year. It's probably just wishful thinking to think they could get someone bigger.
All in all though, I'm really pumped for this. M83, Beirut, The National, and the Flaming Lips will be amazing. They've really done a good job of getting great acts who I can't see around Buffalo, so it makes it worth it for me. Plus somehow I'm able to get more of my friends for this than Roo, so it'll be cool to have a bunch of people to come with and go around Chicago with after the bands play.
The Flaming Lips are the only real headliner I've seen this festival produce for a Saturday or Sunday. All the bands that have "headlined" before would not be headliners for any big festival.
Well I maybe able to go to this since my family might be going up to Chicago in July. Weird thing is that the 3 day passes are all sold out, but the two day pass and the friday pass are still available and come out to the same price. Cool stuff.
