Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Built to Spill, Grizzly Bear, The Jesus Lizard, The National, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Pharoahe Monch, Tortoise, Vivian Girls, The Walkmen, Yo La Tengo
Starting on Friday night, we're kicking off a new series called "Write the Night: Set Lists by Request." You, the audience, vote on which songs all four bands-- Built to Spill, the Jesus Lizard, Yo La Tengo, and Tortoise-- will play. It'll work like this: When you buy your ticket, you'll get a confirmation email. That confirmation email will include a link to a page where you can vote on which songs from each band you want to hear. The bands will tailor their set lists accordingly. Oh, and did we mention this is the Jesus Lizard's first American show in a decade? Righteous, yes?
I live within walking distance and have loved every year of Pitchfork, but I'm too strapped saving up for Roo to buy a weekend pass at the on sale as I have always done. Gonna have wait until after Bonnaroo and see if I can make it happen. The lineup is solid, but it feels a little "been there done that" in comparison to their previous lineups (mostly repeat performers?). I guess that's natural once a fest is 4-5 years old.

Yeah this year will be its 4th year, but since Pitchfork only has a fancy for a handful of big indie bands..they've already run themselves thin on giving us something fresh AND possible(Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Bjork of course being eliminated).
I really hope they can get M83. That would be the only band that would put me over the edge and force me to stay for Sat or Sun.
