So I've heard plenty of talk about seeing the pods at 'Roo and I'm pretty sure I saw a few last year (saw a pretty wild can structure), but what exactly are they and what's their deal? Is it something that 'Rooers can help create, or are they just ways to identify campground or what?
There are artists in charge of making each art project. POD is the "term" for your actual camp area, each of which have their own art project. They are designed to be interactive though...so take your empty cans to the "can pod" bring pieces of fabric for the dreamcatcher one, yarn for the yarn one...etc...
as long as you arent just vandalizing it, or hanging trash from it you are encouraged to add to it in whatever way you like....
i was a POD volunteer last year and thats the way it was explained to me anyway
