I think ya missed the point. Its not the fact theres another Rothbury site. Its the fact the admin that runs that one is a douchebag therefore people who genuinely want to learn about Rothbury and join that site may gain a skewed perspective of the festival, thus giving Rothbury a negative connotation before experiencing it.

Plus a little of what jess said, the people on those forums are pretty paranoid about Bonnaroo employees talking bad about Rothbury on their forums, which I think is absolutely hilarious. This is why they qualified for an April Fools Joke

I loved the thread where he accuses AC/Superfly of sending people to his board to trash talk Rothbury.

Email kelly@superflypresents.com and ask her how her address was used to validate an account and what she was posting! She was not posting pro Bonnaroo stuff, but anti Rothbury... that is plain weak.
It is like mud slinging politics... promote if you want but "demote"? And using your Superfly address? Come on.
I was actually one of the first 1,000 or so users here...
Info is not where the issue lies... it is with two or three specific people who see these boards as a contest.... they seem to want something out of it.
We donated $3000 To the Mimi Fishman Foundation last year and Delta Gamma center
We bought a man with a broken back in Rothbury a new well last year.
We sent the admin at infobury $400 worth of new back packs for her Africa trip.
We gave away five tickets to kids who could not afford to go to roth last year.
This year we are at about $1,000 for charity.
Different priorities I guess.
I have a sense of humor but sending emails to Madison House trying to get our site taken "down" is only hurting charity and individuals that need tix.

I gotta agree trying to get their site taken down was a bit unnecessary in my opinion. We've always told people on this site who hate on Bonnaroo and/or Superfly to go somewhere else and leave us alone... yet here this Rothfest site is, away from Inforoo, and some of us decide to go over there and prompt shyt intentionally --which I admit can be pretty funny when it's just done as a joke-- but then to try and rat on them and reported in attempts of some sort of punishment?? If there are people on another board for another festival that want absolutely nothing to do with Bonnaroo or Superfly, then that's their choice to do so!

In all fairness it got carried away, and I certainly egged it on. I started it as a "mostly" harmless April Fools day prank, based on aruawhere's recent experience. I did start this thread mainly because your board was dissing inforoo members in good standing calling them custies and whatnot. Also you had a thread about AC spying and poop talking on your board. I found the idea of this pretty laughable and decided to share it on here.
Now lets be fair about this as well it escalated on both sides. You changed my responses, and name the "small penis" thing, also you sent Meg a F-bomb email. So yes it did get out of hand, and I apologize for that. So lets just let it go, I am sure you are like most people a cool cat in real life, maybe we will be at a fest together and we can rage one day.
