Does anyone know of any 20-piece bands from Chicago? Possibly punk?
I was at a show earlier tonight (Pomegranates and Headlights) and it was a MidPoint Music Festival Reveal Showcase, meaning they were going to release some info on Cincinnati's indie music festival, modeled after SXSW.
Of course they talked about the sponsors and all that kind of stuff, but the first artist confirmation they announced tonight was Jason Isbell, who oddly enough played here just a week or two ago.
They also mentioned a 20-piece band from Chicago would be playing, and I think they might have said they were punk.

Mucca Pazza is quite large Chicago band although not really punk -- they're more like a marching band on crack. Definitely a good time in any case.
I think I was at the same show you were but I must not have been paying attention because I didn't pick up on this showcase deal. I just went cause Maserati kicks balls.
