Fuck this noise. Sorry peoples, but this is one add I think I can live without. At least I won't have a schedule conflict if someone good is playing during this slot.
love them live. I know they replaced Pennie on drums and Brian Benoit is gone as guitar player so i hope the replacement dudes are just as good.
I'm an old fan of the band and I'm worried. I haven't seen their newer shows...
if you haven't seen shows since brian left have you seen them with greg? i know brian was only around for a year or so before he completely destroyed his arm and had to leave the band.
the new guitar player that took over for brian and that took over touring from james love is insane. he screams back-up and goes even more crazy on stage than ben.
i miss gil and it's a shame that he was only the drummer for a few years, but the new kid is suppose to be good. pennie is a long lost memory even though he co-wrote everything except for a few songs on ire works.
Observations from a June Cleaver type that went on a whim. And wound up on the rail.
1. My most memorable show of the week. 2. Hope the girl with the broke nose is OK. (no, I did not break it) 3. ELEVEN security guards were not enough. 4.The case of water Greg Puciato threw into the crowd while still in it's box might have seemed like a good idea at the time. I found it amusing anyway. But it did not hit me. 5. Crowd surfing is an art form for the insane. 6. Yes you can jump from the stage into the crowd and still play guitar and sing. Good to know. 7. Ear plugs are a wonderful thing when right next to a jumbo tron of speakers. 8. I still have Greg Puciato's sweat on my glasses. I will never wash them.
He must have looked at me and thought, WTF? Did this hippie girl get lost on the way to Phish?

I got a guitar pick (the only one the guitarist on the left side of the stage used) and I totally rocked it while wearing my Flavor Flav getup on the rail!!!! and I finally had someone say Inforoo to me at that show!!!!

WTF I was NOT prepared for that. I'd never heard them before (I'd heard OF them through them touring with NIN) but damn they were effing awesome. Did the lead singer bloody that girl's nose when he dived? Hope she's o.k her face was jacked up.

I don't think he did. People were pushing, shoving, and punching in the middle up front. We were to the right on the rail, and our bunch of maniacs were well behaved. Just rockin out and enjoying the insanity.

Man.. FUCK that shit. I was pissed when NIN brought them on stage, honestly. Trent even said something to the effect of, "Here's a band that's not very cool, but we're trying to make them a little cooler". I can't say anything of their own music because I haven't heard it, but I just wanted to hear Trent sing, fuck that other band.

^The guys from Dillinger and Trent are really tight... I'm pretty sure he was just making a joke. They've collaborated on Wish multiple times.
This set was definitely one of my top 5 as well. Have always wanted to catch Dillinger. I would actually like to see a not-'Roo show at some point as well. I think they kind of kept a lid on things. That, and the fact that it was so mother f'in hot in that tent.
