I've liked what I've heard from 3.0 so far. But after listening to the stream of tonight's 6 song 2nd set, it sounds like they back in full form now. Wow.
can somebody help me out with a link where these shows are streaming? are they doing live or shortly after the show? i want in. thanks!!

Livephish.com or check torrent sites. They are usually up the day after the show.
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.

Yeah, I think what they did during the jam of SOAM set up that incredible 2nd set. If you listen to the jam of SOAM into the outro of that song, the outro is so perfect it could be on a studio album. I think they felt the melt, and the rode it for the rest of the night.
The Drowned>Crosseyed is magnificent, and then like you said, pretty much the rest of the set is Phish like we haven't heard them for a long long time.

Yeah streams never work on my shithole of an internet connection anyways. It blows. But that DWD opener was actually a completion of 8/5/09 apparently. They kicked it off straight from the beginning of the guitar solo. What a monstrous way to start a show!
And Page must've been listening to too much Bisco today. He's rockin a flat breezy!
I don't get how the DWD is a continuation. Listening to it now, and it sounds like it starts from the beginning. What am I missing here?
You might be right. I was just going by what was being advertised on PT, since my computer can't handle the streams or anything. Everyone was claiming that the song started off right in the beginning of the nasty guitar solo and the intro was not played. They were clearly mistaken, as I have just now gotten a chance to listen to it myself.

I wasn't calling you out strum, I just saw that somewhere else too (maybe PT, though I don't have an account and generally avoid that place) so I was wondering what people were talking about. Wasn't sure if I was missing something important in a song I've been listening to for 15 years.

I'm likely going to be at Merriweather as well! I'm still trying to secure some tickets but it's looking good for me to be in attendance I think. After looking at what they've been doing since Red Rocks there's just no way I can miss a show that's only 4.5 hours away from me or so...
^ My old man is from NY. He went to Woodstock and has seen "the greats" in many diff places . He told me his favorite place to c a show was at Saratoga Springs. Really wanted to make that happen but its cool.. MPP will be sick nasty.

^^Comin from Roanoke, VA. Not a bad drive at all. What about you?
I'm debating whether or not to give in and pay the $100 on Stubhub for tickets or if I should take my chances in the lot. It seems to be one of the more sought after shows of the tour it seems. Phish has a pretty good history with Merriweather, and it really is out of the way with the rest of their tour. They clearly wanna bring it!
man they are going to bring it so hard! Two of us are coming from Nashville then were picking up our two fellow InfoRooers in Knox. Were going to leave early b/c its going to be goin down in the lot.
We got lucky and found 3 for 65 a piece and pounced on them. We still need one more..i dont think the lot will be too bad. Def less than 100..They were goin for 40 at deer creek so surely the price wont be doubled.. But it is second to last of the tour and the only show on the 2nd leg for the southeasters.

I've heard some rough rumors about the lot at Merriweather. Just be careful, and when drinking beer pour it in a cup rather than straight from the can/bottle.
This could all be nonsense, but better safe than sorry I'd say!
