Anybody else going to Chicago tomorrow night? I've been looking forward to seeing this show since Roo ended. Way more excited for tomorrow night than I was for all of Lolla.

I've heard some rough rumors about the lot at Merriweather. Just be careful, and when drinking beer pour it in a cup rather than straight from the can/bottle.
This could all be nonsense, but better safe than sorry I'd say!
It's been since the Radiohead Hail To The Thief tour that I have been to MPP. I will say that it's not one of my most desired places to go. But it's been years. I hope thats all changed.

first set kinda blew to be honest. even the older phish heads i was with were completely disappointed. the venue isn't so great, though. the sound was really bad in our area(not phish's fault), so that didn't help. second set killlllllled though. i was happy to hear gotta jibboo, and wilson and loving cup were big hits.

I think it's safe to say the 2001 from Chicago is my favorite version of 3.0. It gets funky, and it actually builds up and creates some suspense as opposed to the majority of the ones post hiatus where they're just 4 or 5 minutes long and kind of rush through it.
God, I think I'd die if we got this crazy 12 or 13 minute long 2001 at Merriweather.... a la Big Cyprus!

Carini was amazing!, 2001 turned the place into the biggest dance party ever, and page's solo at the end of coil made me cry....it was beautiful. Yes, Phish made me cry.

^^wooooo! It's sure to be a rager, can't wait!
Apparently last night tickets on stubhub topped $200 each minimum. This is one of the most sought after shows since the Hampton run it seems. There's no way they can disappoint!

Well I'm hitting the road to Richmond here in a few. Then after some boozin' and an overly-anxious night of sleep it's on the road to Merriweather!! Can't flippin' wait! ;D ;D

I'm super excited - it's my first Phish show
it was mine as well!! I may not have seen the best sets of Phish 3.0, but that didn't matter! Phish is Phish and they are playing great right now! You are bound to have a little better set, but its gonna rage either way!! Have fun!
