Nope, but it's apartment showing season and I'm not renewing. So I have to be on notice for a three-hour period for (a) 5-10 minute showing(s). They have to provide 24 hour advance notice, though.
When they show up, I just go have a cigarette out on the porch.
oh ok, if my landlord had permission to enter i would be outa there! lol. He waits on the stoop, while i write him a check lmao.
Why leave the house for three hours when they only need ten minutes? They only did one showing today, about a half hour into the three hours.
oh no! i didnt mean leave during the showing, I meant I would be outa the apartment all together as in I would have moved out. lol. actually i probably wouldnt have signed the lease.
i understand your situation though, it makes sense. I was just talking in general about free entry by landlords
I don't have to be here, but that's what the law allows in my city - landlord entry is okay with the 24 hour heads-up.
Maintenance requests are more of a pain, because that gives them legal permission to enter at whatever time to get it done.
^yeah, maintenance requests are a b!tch. In my old place, the bug sprayer guy would just pop over totally unannounced. he was a friendly old man so whatever. The landlord popped over a few times unannounced as well. we ended up just moving out. honestly we didnt want to take legal action but it was one of many things that made us get out of there
our new landlord is awesome though, so no complaints atm.
ahhh it was a very good start tho - just the kick in the ass I needed. If I can get ideas - I can normally embellish them

Jennsc is wandering around Centeroo during the hottest part of the afternoon. While trying to locate some shade, she stumbles upon the American Spirit giveaway tent. Remembering the discussions on Inforoo that this is a great place to relax in some air conditioning, she shows her ID and is let in the door. Right away she suspects that something is wrong. There are only two people in the tent during the hottest part of the day. And they both have gas masks on….before she can turn around to leave, the poisonous gas circulating through the tent from the air conditioning takes effect and she falls to the ground dead
Hippie was enjoying a lazy day on Inforoo when she decided some corn would be nice. She went to snag a helping when she noticed one of her records lying on the ground. She went over to pick it up and put it back in it's place when suddenly her bookshelf full of vinyls fell on top of her, crushing her to death.

I really don't know what to make of hippie's death. But whoever had a part of it gets karma from me (to be dished out at the end of the game, presumably... unless someones wants to fess up and get it now )
