Sammy o, my only defense is that I've never been mafia, and it is no different this time around. If you read back on previous rounds, every single time I've claimed that I never get to be mafia, I've been telling the truth. There's no way I'd claim I wasn't mafia, if I was, and ruin my credibility with that defense in future rounds. I assure you, I never get to be mafia and I'm not mafia this round either, check the previous rounds- I've always been telling the truth.
The reason I voted for sadielady is that she seemed to be trying too hard.. But I'm open to being swayed.
thats coo. me too, but i still have no other reason for anyone else and you just happen to be above me and i like to use random reasons to vote when im not suspicious. no hard feelings i hope. im tryin' to figure this out too.

Since sammy o is so determined to vote for me, even after I swore I wasn't mafia, then my vote changes to him.
You can vote me off, but I'm not mafia. I promise, I never get to be mafia. And I play this game all the time, I WOULD not ruin the credibility of that defense if I were. Yeah the odds say I should have been mafia by now, but with people not always choosing randomly, the odds are quite messed up. I'm NOT mafia. So, townspeople, you'll lose a fellow citizen if you vote me off.

No mafia member would fight this much.. And you can tell from previous rounds. Kdogg fought and he wasn't mafia, and he figured out who were LONG before the townspeople did, because I was ref. I'm fighting because I know I'm not mafia. ;] but I'll be avenged when you all end this game with the mafia outnumbering you because you vote off your own and you'll all know I wasn't mafia.

I'm going to vote Wooz, even though I'm intimidated by his global mod-ness. He's just been so gosh darn quiet, like he's waiting in the bushes to pounce. However, if he can explain this silence, I will certainly rethink this decision.

I suppose I should clarify my method of selection... I was so vehement in my defense last time because I had asked both wooz & handgun how they determined the who's who. They seemed to use similar methods... I didn't mention my correspondence with handgun in my defense last game, because I wasn't sure if mentioning those communications was allowed.
So in the interest of transparency, I'll lay it out for all to see how I decided roles for this game.
I went with a different approach from what the last two refs told me they did. I used this random number generator: www.random.org/integers/ You all got assigned a number, 1-11, in the order of signing up. First, I had the generator give me three numbers from 1-11 to figure out mafia. Then, I then got another number to determine the inspector. Lastly, I used the site's sequence generator to create a randomly-ordered sequence of all numbers 1-11; whichever mafia number turned up first was the identity I gave to the inspector.
I did all of this before I even created this thread. So I knew which sign-up positions would get which roles before any of you signed up. Since it's based on random draw, you may assume that each player has an equal chance of being assigned any role.

^^good mathematical analysis there. As someone who also has never been selected [before the game starts, that is] to be mafia it is entirely possible and believable that handgunhips is not mafia this time around as well.
I stick with almostcertain for now, altho wooz's silence is awful curious as well. Even though almostcertain has a reasonable excuse to be quiet since she is busy a lot, I'm just sticking with her cause I think she's mafia. call it a hunch

I'm convinced that handgunhips is not mafia. The reason for this being that there are 5 votes for her and a total of 3 other votes spread out amongst other individuals, but not more than 1 vote for anyone else. If the mafia was about to be threatened with losing one of their members then surely there would be some last minute vote changing to pile up more votes for someone else to make it closer and give them more of a chance coming out with a victory in this round. As it is, the votes are all just piling on handgunhips with nobody making an attempt to save her yet. Seems like at this point in the game the mafia are quite content with how it's going

Strum, I agree with your logic. In the first round we were split into two camps, those voting for me ( you bastards!!) and those voting for ajalfon. As I said I know I am not mafia and whomever the inspector is would voted for who they KNEW was mafia. So I really think Ajalfon was mafia. If we assume Ajalfon was mafia then that means that 2 of the 4 who voted for me are mafia. That leaves two mafia left. Now based on Strums post I don't think handgunhips is mafia. Aespsg doesn't seem paired up with anyone else's vote... which leaves Sammy O and Sadie who seem to be voting together. Think about it folks, I really think those two are our mafia.
I change my vote to Sammy O.

There's a packed tent for the Gogol Bordello set. The crowd is enthralled with the show, and particularly distracted from their surroundings by a round of drum-surfing. It's such a captivating sight that handgunhips fails to notice a few suspicious people wearing purple, wearing purple sneak up behind her. She was found with a quick-and-dirty slit throat not too long after the drum has finished its round trip above the crowd.

its cool with me, but if you will read back...both of my votes have been completely random. if someone voted the same as me, oh well, i can't control that. i've had no reason to be suspicious up til this point, now i'm seeing a few people trying to be 'persuasive'...this raises my eyebrow. im gonna read back and then vote. the suspicion begins...

Sorry Sammy, but you can't vote right now. Day Two voting is closed and handgun got the axe. Night Two is still underway, until I hear from everyone I need to hear from. Day Three public voting does not begin until after I announce the mafia's next hit.
After several hours of inching down the road, Strum and his crew finally arrive at a security checkpoint. Three individuals with hats tipped low and SECURITY printed on their t-shirts ask them to step out of the vehicle so it can be searched. For a few moments they rifle around in the car, but the pimp isn't worried because he knows his goods are well hidden. They are all so busy looking at their new surroundings that they don't notice the small package placed under the drivers seat by the stealthy search guy. When they move on from the checkpoint, Strum remarks that this is the last leg of the journey to heaven. Appropriately, the package beneath his seat explodes, killing him instantly.
Day Three begins. (Sammy, you can vote now.)

oops...i was still drunk yesterday morning when i posted that!! sorry to be a little bit premature on that one! i knew i was gonna be gone all day yesterday so i didn't want to hold up the game. doesn't look like i did anyway.
my vote still goes that way tho. again, unless convinced otherwise. (see above post for reason) sammy o > cajun
