I have worn contacts for 13 years and am blind w/out them. I have never had a problem at 'Roo either, I just leave them in for most of the weekend and take an extra pair.
I am dependent on my contacts, and my glasses are about 3 prescriptions old so i rarely wear them. so I also bring a couple extra pairs of contacts, and take em out as I feel like it. eyedrops eyedrops eyedrops. good luck!

this is me - although I do wear my glasses at home to get from the bathroom to the bed after I take my contacts out.

i left all my contact stuff in my center console of my car. that way it is in a clean place without dust, dirt, rain, etc...
every night before bed i would just sit in my car for a sec, take them out, stick them in the console and repeat in the AM. that way i knew exactly where they were, and that they weren't going to get buried under something in my tent.

I (unintentionally) slept in my contacts over the weekend. My eyes were super itchy the following day. So I don't think I'll be doing that at Roo. I'm going to bring a couple extra pairs just in case.

I've had several optometrist visits in the last ten days and have discussed my Bonnaroo contact/glasses plans at length with my doctor. He is hooking me up with five pairs of disposable contacts and said that those were totally the way to go because of dirt/germs, etc. And then I got to hear about his Woodstock stories. Bonnaroo totally bonded me to my OD.
I JUST got contacts about 10 days ago now. I have Acuvue lenses and when I asked about Roo, they told me they are FDA approved to be left in for up to a week! I've been doing some single night test runs, and they are FINE in the morning. A couple of contact freindly eye drops in the morning, and I should be good to go!! Last year was sooo annoying with my glasses, because for pretty much ALL the daytime sets I had to wear sunglasses, and I didn't any any presciption lenses in them
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
I've decided to bring 5 pairs of contacts and just toss one each night. I can't sleep in/wear these things for 4 days straight my eyes would be stuck together.
I'm bringing my things to take them out... but I probably won't. No way am I wearing glasses, I need sunglasses too badly! I'm definitely going to check out those Visine drops, though!
