I would literally die or at least donate an organ to have them at the Roo. For those that don't know, they are one of the best post-rock/experimental/electronic bands in the genre...the best in my opinion. AC has yet to to book anything in the post-rock field this year. PLEASE MAKE THEM AN ADDITION. I saw there first U.S. performance ever at the Echo Project in 2007 and I was completely stunned, overwhelmed, and blown away. It is one of those experiences I will never forget... A flawless live performance accompanied by awesome visuals and lights. I have listened to them nearly everyday since and it never gets old. They have a lot of shows booked this year but none in the U.S. and NONE IN JUNE!!! Come on AC...MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

Wow... never heard of them until now, but I'm listening to their myspace and they are amazing. They would be an awesome add, I'd totally be down for that one.

Awesome!!! I'm glad at least some of you like them! They are amazing and changed my life forever. The stuff on their myspace is from their newest album but I would highly recommend downloading All Is Violent, All Is Bright and The End Is the Beginning for a true representation of the GIAA sound.
From Dust To The Beyond off of The End is the Beginning....by far my favorite track by them next to the song Fragile.

Thread Resurrection. I am still dying to have these guys at Bonnaroo. This would most definitely fill the lack of post rock at the Roo. AC is missing out on not booking these guys and you guys are missing out on an incredible live post-rock show...

Okay. I really have to back this thread up. These guys are incredible! A few years ago, while on leave, some of my friends talked me into going to one of their shows in Brisbane. As some of you may already know, I'm usually not a fan of electronic music at all, but I have to admit that these dudes blew me away! They skillfully craft live instrumentation and electronics into beautifully atmospheric and bleakly disturbing music. These guys are unbelievably talented, refreshingly original, fearlessly GENERA-blurring and groundbreakingly forward-thinking. I walked in a sceptic, but I definitely walked out a life long fan. This is what it's all supposed to be about. God Is An Astronaut is a show every single one of you need to see.

RESURRECTED. Nothing has changed. These guys still need and deserve to be there, preferably after dark. AC...you're missing out on one of the best audio/visual experiences around. They have a newer, even more awesome light setup than last year.
