i would've had these posted last night, but my cable modem went down... so, here are a few pictures i took yesterday afternoon. i wanted to take a few more, but time wouldn't allow ( had to get my truck to the shop). i'll get some more later. the first picture shows a line of portopotties and a 'big rig' headed right for me, they were putting up those little white shade tents for the bonnaroo staff. the second pic shows an overview of the centeroo area. the third pic is zoomed in on a skeleton of one of the big tents. fourth pic is a zoomed in on another part of centeroo. the last is another overview.
Sweet Teine, please keep them coming. Maybe this way we might also be able to get our bearings around the site sooner than just walking around the first day. Boy that was an adventure in and of itself. Can't wait to conquer the whole 700 acres this year.
nice pics man, didnt see no cicada, (sorry im just crawling with them up here). how bout an idea of the exits off the highway. first year just the 1 exit off the highway. second yr another one right into the site itself, i believe nothbound side. bonnaro is saying "new exit" is that the some one as last year "new exit" or do we really have a new one?

the gate i was in front of was a smaller gate that allows roosters camped across the street to come into the main camping area. as far as entrances go, i received a letter in my mailbox a couple weeks ago saying they plan to fix some of the traffic problems from the last two years... how they are going to do this, i'm not sure. as they say, third times a charm, right? they've already got the entrance off of westbound I-24 setup with ticket taking booths. i have not seen any apparent new entrance, but i'll let you know if/when it shows up.
no, that cell tower is not the one visible from I-24. it's a bit further to the right (not in the pictures).
