and before anyone complains about me posting the link to the other thread - I was justing pointing out that there was a thread about the rentals and that maybe someone posted there that they are doing it. I'm not saying that the OP should not have started a thread specifically looking for people that are doing the RV rental thing

well, i was going to have my driver take my beater car - the bentley - but there were no proper garages and he was unwilling to sleep in the trunk. although it is quite roomy.
i thought about taking the heli, but i dont like loud noises, so i don't use it much.

It's really not a bad deal. It is costing the same as it did for 4 of us to rent one and drive it there last year. We do have 6 this year which is helping.

If I had a larger group going Id definetly consider this. But when you only have 2 other people going and both of them are tightwads the likeliness of experiencing this is slim to none
