I work on my feet for 8+hours a day so when I get home I really don't want to go running around. As for at roo? I dunno, you'd have to get up really early to run with out the crap tons of people in your way. I'll help you out though all during roo I'll think of you running around (if I remember) this way the vibes will make it seem like your running around.
it would be cool if someone wore a pedometer. I would volunteer but Im in VIP this year so my walking will be reduced very much. Last 2 years we were in BFE and I always wondered how many miles I hiked in a day
I'm totally game for morning jogs. I am a rookie to B-roo though, so I have no idea where it is you're talking about starting from. I run a couple miles every day. I have to just to stay in shape, and I'd rather not destroy myself entirely in one long weekend of debauchery. What time do you intend on starting these magically miserable hangover excursions?
Pedometer? I have the Nike+ thing for my iPod Nano and I love it. Tracks miles, average pace, calories burned, etc. I will def try and meet up with you guys, I accidentally started my own running at roo thread just now before someone pointed this one out to me. As we get closer to Roo do you think you'll know more specifically when you'll wanna go running? It'd suck to wait around for 30-45 minutes, I'd probably just end up going alone, but it'd be cool to run with other people.

I ran three miles last year through the camping areas. Very few are up and walking at 8:00, and it was easy to avoid those who were. One of the best moments of last year's Roo was my spontaneous high five with another random running guy. It was totally something that would only happen on a farm in Tennessee with one of my 80,000 closest friends. I'll try to get to the Bushy Branch / Shakedown meetup, but my speed is "deliberate." Let me know.
I plan on running as well and will meet you at Shakedown and Bushy Branch between 8:30 and 9:00. Are you going to start on Friday? I may run Thursday evening as well.

I MIGHT be down for this. I'm sort of a health nut to begin with so I figured the yoga would be something cool to do. I would like to go run, but I can see it making me super sweaty and raise my body temperature with really no place to cool off much after. Then dealing with blazing humidity all day....hmmm...
We're going to start Friday morning. We will be in Nashville on Thursday morning, running around Vanderbilt (we're meeting one of my buddies there).
We'll be at Bushy Branch and Shakedown around 8:15 or so, do some stretching and off on the running between 8:30 and 8:40. Hope this helps and thanks to everyone for joining in!
p.s. I ran 12 miles yesterday and my roommate raced a half-marathon (placing second!) this past Saturday, so we're both hurting, but should be fine in a few days.
