Well, I've been looking through some of the videos and pictures from previous years and I'm seeing quite a few people getting naked. ;D I definitely don't have a problem with this, although, aren't there a few families that go? I don't know what kind of impression seeing a naked man going down a slip & slide leaves on a young child. I guess it's no worse than catching mom and dad doing it. I just like to know how common it is to see a topless chick at a show or a butt naked wookie passed out in the dirt? Tell me your stories, I'm all ears.

This is my fourth year and while I have seen several naked Rooers, it's not all that common. I've seen many topless ladies and many people who might as well have been naked. It only seems like there's massive rampant nudity because naked people are often photographed. Obviously, those same pictures make for great conversations and stories. If anyone plans on attending with their children(and many do), they just have to be sure that they do their best to explain to the kids exactly what they might encounter. There are many things that happen at festivals like Roo that most children will be unfamiliar with but, if you address these possibilities ahead of time, it shouldn't be a problem. While people are there to party, they will still be pretty respectful of nearby families. Much like no one is going to plop down next to your child and "light up", no one is going to dance naked in front of them either, If you do encounter someone who is a little too "out of it" to notice your little ones, there is ample room for your family to find a new spot. I guess it really just comes down to the individual child and what their parent is comfortable with them being exposed to.
For the sake of those of us that view Inforoo from work, please put a warning on questionable pics (even if the material is implied by the content of your post).
Sorry about that, I didn't think of that. Websense doesn't allow any of these kinds of message boards at where I work. I bring my own laptop and go wireless. Thanks for staying on top of things.
pretty f*ckin wild. In 04, there was a "titty-paintin" booth setup and painted titties everywhere. You will definitely see naked people. I see them every year.
I'm a parent of a 9 and 7 year old, have been to Roo every year, and am still holding off on taking my kids. It's really not a family friendly environment. There is so much adult stuff your kids get exposed to, and naked people is the least of it. I just am not ready for my kids to endure all that in the name of me having a good time. Of course, there are precautions you can take to keep your kids under-exposed, but ultimately this is bonnaroo, and the mantra of sex, drugs and rock and roll rides high atop the festival like a banner beckoning all who attend.

I don't really consider it that wild. I've been taking my 15 year old daughter to stuff like this since she was a baby and she doesn't seem to affected by any of it. In my opinion I would rather her see naked people than violence of any kind - which is all over the TV.

Yeah.......I've heard some pretty wild stories. I'm a noob to bonnaroo, myself, and sooo stoked about it I've been snubbed outta going every year so far.
I wouldn't consider it that wild. I saw some naked people last year, but they certainly aren't everywhere. There are people with young children there...I never saw an unhappy kid.

I wouldn't reallly consider nudity wild anyway... I'm just excited to get there and take it all in. Every time I talked to someone or read over the message boards I get a little more excited.

Is Bonnaroo a terrible place to bring kids? No. Is Bonnaroo a good place to bring kids? Not so much. Nothing bad will happen to them, just remember that the festival is a bit more raw compared to what you may be used to.

I saw les nudity last year than in any year previous. The only toplessness I witnessed was a pregnent woman dancing at the Bela Fleck show. Even girls w/ painted ta-tas were wearing bikini tops. WTF???!!!???
