They had a booth at Pitchfork, and it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. A few wraps, some hummous, a little fruit - bananas, cherries, maybe a couple other things. They ran out of most stuff early. Hopefully they will do more at Roo, and keep it stocked. Being able to get fresh fruit in Centeroo would be really nice.
I ate a whole container last week and couldn't get my rings off. I bet it would be pretty easy to copy, too...feta, Greek olives, parsley, sundried tomatoes and a little olive oil. Hmmm, maybe even some toasted pine nuts.

Question: where they selling food or giving it away at Pitchfork? I stumbled upon some sort of event in Boulder, CO a few years ago, and WholeFoods was giving away all sorts of snacks and goodies. I assumed that would be the case at Roo, but it sounds like you had to buy the stuff at Pitchfork?

They were selling food - it was a little tent set up more like the cd sales booths, where you go in and wander around and find what you want rather than looking at a list and ordering. The rest of the food at Picthfork SUCKED, so that may have had something to do with why they sold out so fast. They probably weren't expecting to have to feed 99% of the crowd.

i'm with the crew that's coming from whole foods -- we'll let you know when we have a solid list of what we're selling, but it'll be more snack-type stuff and produce and not so much wraps and salads. it's just not feasible to keep it stocked and we're not going to prep anything onsite. it's a big booth, though -- 20X30 inside planet roo! come check us out -- we're looking forward to it!
