Everyone is provided with a map/schedule as you trade your ticket for a wristband upon entering the site (at least that's how it's been the last few years). Its not a bad idea to grab a few backup copies of this precious document if you can at the gate or if you see any discarded ones laying around. The last two years I have gotten the general layout figured out in the first day or so, but the schedule is an absolutely necessary reference if you don't want to miss the shows that are most important to you.
