What has been your most stupendous, jawdropping, teary-eyed, awesome singular, moment at Bonnaroo. I emphasize "singular" even it is multiple singularities?
I have about three or four that just floored me.
1.The 40 mile in both directions on interstate traffic jam (stoppage) during Bonnaroo 1.
2. Bonnaroo 1.
3. Looking out at the crowd from the stage during Tom Petty, thinking it was the largest crowd I had seen at that venue
4. Looking out at the crowd during Radiohead from the stage, watching the glowsticks, hearing the crowd. From that vantage point...all those faces...it was unreal. The biggest crowd I had ever seen in that venue. It is indescribable
5. Reminding myself every few hour that I only live 15 minutes away.
6. The Michael Franti show a couple of years ago that gave me a tear in my eye.
My most "jawdropping" moment was leaving Roo #2. As we left the entire campsite there was not one piece of trash. EVERYONE had bagged their trash and separated their recyclables. No trash as far as the eye could see. I'd never seen a more clean, happy, and "socially consciencious" festival.
Since it's gone more mainstream, this no longer happens. [glow=red,2,300]But we can make it happen at Camp Inforoo.[/glow]

That is great that ya'll cleaned up so well. last year had to be the worst year for trash...especially in Centeroo every day. It seems that the increased litter came along with a change in the crowd demographic. More partiers and less music fans.
If you want to see something pretty crazy looking, check out the site on a Tuesday after everyone is gone. It is a sea of trash but Cleanvibes does a great job.
In the aftermath, the worst littered/trashed place would have to be Shakedown...the main one. It is pitiful to see. I guess some (not all) just want to make a little money and then get out. On the upside, there is some awesome scavenging to be done...........however, be careful, you need a laminate or reason to be there or the cops may come after you.
A friend of mine volunteered with cleanvibes and did some great scavenging while working for a good cause.
I am TOTALLY off topic. I will start a SCAVENGE thread.
