As anyone seen these guys live? I decided to make the trek up to Toronto for their show at Kool Haus June 1st. I've listened to some of their previous stuff, but Kingdom of Rust put me over the top for driving an hour and a half to see them.
I'm seeing them at the end of may in Detroit. First time seeing them live. Love all there stuff and kingdom of rust is great. I'm excited to see some tracks in person!
The last time I saw them was 03' or 04'. It was the Last Broadcast tour and they owned the 930 club that night. Seeing them in Philly a few days before we leave for Bonnaroo. I can't wait.

So how are they live? I've heard about them for a long time but never listened to them until I saw they were playing in Detroit and figured I should give them a shot. I picked up Kingdom of Rust and listened to it a couple times, but I think I need a few more to really get a feel. Did they mostly play songs from that cd at their show?

Sorry. I guess I should have said the last time I saw them was an absolute amazing show. In my opinion. I gave up Wakarusa for Doves if that says anything. I'm not sure of what the set list will contain. But pretty sure it's gonna be KoR and the 'hits',so to speak.
I've seen em twice in Philly at the TLA. Best show I've ever seen at the TLA for sure, and I've seen a bunch. Hopefully I'll be at the Troc show in a month.
Detroit show was last night. EPIC! They are so good live and they had all the videos for the songs going in the background, simply amazing. They flubbed Kingdom of Rust (I'm not sure what happened it sounded ok to me) and started over from the beginning, Jimi dubbed it the "kingdom of rust reprise" which was played flawlessly

Great show at Kool Haus. I was really only familiar with their latest album, and they absolutely blew me away. I got their right as doors opened and was able to get a nice juicy rail spot.
Here's a picture I took for now, if I find any better ones in the bunch I'll post them.

I caught them on Jimmy Fallon last night. I'd heard them a long time ago. I think I have some of there old stuff on my hard drive. Gonna see what I 've got and find some more.
