Unfortunately, one of my roo buddies has to leave Saturday to go usher a wedding. Since vehicles are allowed to leave and re-enter once, the tentative plan is for him to leave Saturday morning and return later that night.
I've all but ruled out him being able to drive the truck back to our site that night, but should we even assume he'll be able to drive out in the morning without driving over any Rooers sleeping (one off) on a nice soft patch o'grass?
Anybody had to deal with this before or have any suggestions?
Wow, I don't know what I'd do to a so called friend who would ask me to give up a chunk of my Roo to usher a wedding. Usually being asked to be in a wedding is an honor, but this would be kind of a kick in the dick. Back to the subject, if you guys were in VIP you could come and go as you pleased. Good luck.
I would say that once you park and set up your tent, you make sure that you can get the car out, but Levus is correct, you should try to get as close to the main roads as possible.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"

Are you going in the same car or separate cars? I had a friend with a similiar situation last year, but he was in his own truck. While the rest of us parked and camped by our cars, he just parked in day parking and walked back to us. I'm pretty sure day parking allows you to come in and out as you please.
In '07 there was a group of girls that drove in every day and parked right next to my RV, their car got filthy from all the dust off the road, but they never seemed to have any trouble leaving and coming back in
I will say the same as the others. It is extremely hard to leave if you are parked in GA and not by a road. It is also very anoying to your neighbors when you are rigth in the middle and have ot ask everyone to move their tents so you can leave. Last year these guys left on Sunday morning and actualyl moved peoples tents without any permission to make room. I think having him park in day parking and then walk to your camp is the best bet.

heh. we couldn't afford roo/langerado last year because OUR wedding was in november. im a first timer so what would i know but i think the general consensus is park in day parking so your neighbors don't hate you. i bet if you time it right you can park in day parking and then meet up with car campers who will probably still be in line so you won't have to walk the whole way. but again i am just speculating.
