For the past few years, some of us Roosters volunteer to bring extra supplies for those that can't bring a lot of stuff (flying in, greyhounding, hitching) so they won't be left short. It worked well enough last year that there has been interest expressed in giving this another try. So here we go.
This thread is a place for such people to request any needed staples that we who are driving in could easily bring. People can then PM each other and coordinate a meeting at Roo. This thread is here to help facilitate connections.
Here's how it works. If you need something, request it and someone will hopefully PM you saying they will bring it. Or see if someone has offered to donate it, Pm the donor and arrange a meeting at Roo. It's that simple.
Once a person in need arrives at Roo they can call their donor, find where they are camping and pick up their stuff (or arrange a central meeting place and time.)
Let's spread the LOVE!
Rules: Nothing illegal (obviously); Nothing expensive (Don't abused the good will) Remember, no one know where they will be camping. Be aware you may need to walk some distance to pick up donations. Once a donor/recipient have connected, please post and let me know so I can strike through the request and donation to help limit unnecessary and potentially bothersome PM's.

what do you mean by non EZ up shade canopy? i see you have me on there for needing help setting up....that's cool of you, but i don't expect someone to come out to me and do this...i just plan on asking a neighbor to help me with setup. not even going the tent route...just going to try to sleep in the SUV since i'm flying solo. now if someone wants to loan me a sun reflecting tarp and show me how to rig it on my canopy/ez up (lol you can tell i don't know the diff) so that i can get some shade...well i'm all for it.

I think this is a fantastic idea. I love the generosity of Bonnaroo goers!
I'm flying in, and I'm a college student who can definitely NOT afford checking (or even buying) an EZ-Up. I would be forever thankful to anyone who could lend me any type of canopy.
summerteeth - I have the canopies that come in several pieces and have to be assembled. Much cheaper but harder to put up. EZups come in one piece that you just unfold and raise. Much easier but more expensive. Unfortunately I think I just gave my last canopy away.
I'll put you on the list for a tarp/shade. Your neighbors should be able to help you out with assembly. Bonnaroovians are good that way.

I've been reading the inforoo boards for a while now and just haven't gotten involved yet... It would be totally awesome of someone could lend me and my buddy a shade tent. Ez-up or not, doesn't matter.
In fact, we'd be happy if someone with an EZ-Up was willing to camp next to us and share the shade and let us run some tarps off of it to extend the area a bit.
I don't have anything to give away or lend out, but if somebody wants to meet up and share their shade, we'll share our solar shower, haha.
I'm flying in from FL on the 9th, I actually have a friend who lives in Murfreesboro, so it works out...

I was out today and ran across some more non-EZ-up canopies. They come in about 20 pieces and must be assembled but are fairly sturdy and and relatively cheap. I used one of these my first few Roos with no complaints.
They are on sale for $18.75 (roughly $21 with TN's 10% sales tax)
I could pick up a couple of these for those of you looking for shade if you are absolutely sure you can reimburse me at Roo. (I cannot afford to throw away multiples of $21)

Or look at the druq stores and Dollar stores in your area. These retail for $25 but lots of places have 25% off sales. BTW, these are at Family Dollar.

hi, me and a friend are riding a greyhound from san diego and would seriously need 1 or 2 sleeping bags (or a tent, but really, we would be happy with just the bags) we're bringing a blanket and hopeful that that's all we're gonna need haha we're arriving on thursday at about 12pm or later, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I can lend out the tent if it's needed by someone else. It's a two-person tent.
Okay, so 6 days to go. I just wanted to remind all those who have made arrangements to meet to remember to PM your cell# to each other. It does little good to bring donations if you can't find each other.
I might be a little late to the party here, but it's looking like I might be in need of a tent as well. I bought one and was out of town when it got shipped to me. It got shipped back to Coleman and I'm still waiting for my card to be credited so I can go to the store to buy another one. It's a bit of the BS.
I can bring water, food ( snacks sandwich stuff etc) .. will absolutely share my canopy with anyone nearby...can help out with the yeungling since I live on the MD PA line.. no problem I will just need to be reimbursed for the beer... Let me know.. I am beer and Food shopping Wednesday Morning before hitting the road!
Is there anyway someone camping at camp inforoo could share coolers with water/beer with me and my friend? We're flying in so lugging a cooler with the drinkables doesn't seem like an option. We could pay for the liquids, if anyone could bring an extra cooler?
Hymbe2... I can bring an extra cooler for you.. it is large enough for food and beer.. no problem.. just pm me and we will exchange #'s! Also can bring beer and water.. you will just have to pay back for them .. no problem.. let me know! I am beer shopping Monday so let me know what you need and I will save the receipt for you!
