Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
For the past few years, some of us Roosters volunteer to bring extra supplies for those that can't bring a lot of stuff (flying in, greyhounding, hitching) so they won't be left short. It worked well enough last year that there has been interest expressed in giving this another try. So here we go.
This thread is a place for such people to request any needed staples that we who are driving in could easily bring. People can then PM each other and coordinate a meeting at Roo. This thread is here to help facilitate connections.
Here's how it works. If you need something, request it and someone will hopefully PM you saying they will bring it. Or see if someone has offered to donate it, Pm the donor and arrange a meeting at Roo. It's that simple.
Once a person in need arrives at Roo they can call their donor, find where they are camping and pick up their stuff (or arrange a central meeting place and time.)
Let's spread the LOVE!
Rules: Nothing illegal (obviously); Nothing expensive (Don't abused the good will) Remember, no one know where they will be camping. Be aware you may need to walk some distance to pick up donations. Once a donor/recipient have connected, please post and let me know so I can strike through the request and donation to help limit unnecessary and potentially bothersome PM's.
That's it. Request, Donate and PM away! Post your hookups! It's that easy!

We try and keep this a one-on-one thing to ease the confusion that we experienced in past years. And we don't usually like to start a collection as it turns into a place where people come to beg.
Though people have donated in the past so that longtime Roosters can attend, this should be done cautiously and judiciously and also be done in a separate thread.
Thanks (and crunchies) for the good thoughts anyway.
Cool, just figured I would check. I dont know if the people that got a miracle ticket in the past are even still around but if there are some I think it would show awesome karma for them to give some for someone else in return. Just a side thought, not trying to jack your thread.
All that aside I would love to help but more than likely wont be around the other inforooers as I will be with a big group of guys on a bachelor party. I could donate a tarp though(if needed)

Boz and I are still around and if it wasn't for the kindness of Roosters - we would not have been there last year.
and now - Troo
I offer up a case or two of water if anyone flying in needs it (or am willing to pick up beer for someone if they need it - but they would have to pay for the beer when they pick it up from us)
Would anyone be willing to pick up some cases of beer for some underage Roo goers that don't feel like driving 18 hours with beer in the car? A check could be mailed to you prior to 'Roo and we could meet you at your camp.
EDIT - I read the whole thread and realized this probably isn't the type of question that you guys want asked. Sorry. Shoot me a PM if you can help, otherwise nevermind.
I can bring a case of water and anything else someone might need. I'm looking for an extra shade canopy for relatives who are flying in if someone has one to loan (will be returned on Sunday). Thanks!
I'm probably going this year with no money, so anything would be appreciated. I may be walking around Centeroo selling handmade shirts, purses, etc. I've got blue hair, plugs, and a big white rabbit tat on my forearm. Look for me! Thanks everyone. ^_^
This is a lot slower than the last couple years. There are also no current threads about hitching, greyhounding or flying in in any of the other areas so I'm not really sure what's up. Still, thanks for the bump and we'll keep trying.
So me and my roo'mates never bring enough charcoal cause we don't have enough space in the car for extra bags. We'd be willing to pay cost if someone would be kind enough to traffic some charcoal for us. You can even join us for a bbq feast.

ok so is this the thread where i ask if someone from PA (or anywhere else they sell Yuengling Lager) can bring me a case of Yuengling cans? it's my fav beer. i grew up in PA, i miss that beer and i can't get it here south of Louisville. I will obviously pay you plus a small tip for doing this. Someone PM me if you can and we'll exchange numbers.
furthermore, i'm going solo and am concerned i can't set my camp up cause i'm a moron when it comes to said things. think i'll just sleep in the SUV i'm renting...but even setting up my EZ up could be a chore for me.

summerteeth99 - setting up an EZ-up takes 2 people about 2 minutes. If you're alone you can ask your neighbors for help and they are sure to ablige as everyone is usually VERY friendly (especially if you're willing to share some shade if need be.) I've never found any problem getting help from neighbors when needed. Ask them for help with the EZ-up and then help them with their stuff.
This also helps meet your neighbors (always a fun and helpful thing) and gets you stuff up quickly so people don't crowd your space. Waiting to call a Rooster and then waiting for them to hike over there and help will likely result in little space left by the time they arrive.
If you have a lot of complicated stuff, stake out your territory with the EZ-up and a few items, then hike over to Camp Inforoo and ask for help. Someone will come over and help.
Just my thoughts. See ya there.

Any certain brand you prefer?
A lot for cheap I guess. Whatever will burn the best. I don't know much about charcoal brands.
I'll have the lighter fluid and grill, its just the bags that we can never fit. This year it might be just me and a friend in a minivan, compared to 4 people in a car, so it might work out.
I'll come back to the thread when its closer and I know what our ride situation will be.

im flying in and if someone could donate a canopy i would be FOREVER thankful since we are already going to pay and arm and a leg to check the tent and a suitcase...especially since the ez-ups are over 50lbs and exceed the weight limit for a bag.
xtra tarps or a small table for under the canopy would be nice too
pm me if you have any extras, we'll be in tent only. thank you!
