Camp location and size varies from year to year, parking attendant to parking attendant.
When you're getting real close to being parked tell the guy parking you that you guys are packed in like in a clown car and that you could really use a little space. Oh, and do team drills with your group before you go. Practice the land grab.

Yeah, level with your parking guy and make friends with you neighbors and everything should be gravvvvy
Edit: Oh, but some of the parking folks have sucked for us in the past, so don't bank on it... make sure you have a plan B, just in case you get a Pissy Peggy who isn't willing to help ya out.
1 couple. 1 married dude going solo (me), 2 single dudes looking to score chicks (albeit smelly and dirty by day 2). therefor, 4 tents.
Wide turn and land grab sounds like way to go. $20 bribe last resort.
I think $20 should be first result, just in case the parking guy gets pissed at your wide turn and land grab tactics and decides to take your $20 and cramp you anyways.

when we got parked, driving 05 ford f150 extended cab...they left us enough room to put up a tent and everything...altho, we just put up the king canopy and made some walls out of the tarps, threw a tarp over the truck and slept in the bed. that was probably the best thing to do...but they actualy gave us plenty of room...but ive only been to one roo so im not the most experienced in this field.

If you plan it before hand, I see no reason why you cant set something up thats comfortable for all of you and that doesnt encroach on your neighbors. My boys and I are getting together in a couple of days to work out our set up and practice it in my backyard. Id recommend this to anyone.
the 2 single dudes looking to score chicks might have better luck in tent only.
"what? you're tent is all the way back at camp john bender? well why not stop by my tent at camp paulie first before the long hike back? its just on the other side of the arch. yeah, i too thought OAR was amazing last year"
Sounds to me like your best bet is tent only. Give it your all with the parking attendant and if worse comes to worse grab your stuff and start walking!
width of van x 10ft? maybe they let us have a little more room since we didnt take 4 different vehicles?
Harsh reality, no... It is width of vehicle x 10ft per vehicle.
The parking attendant will not give u extra room. A true wide turn only works when they are not paying attention or they will make u repark... they don't even give enough room for both yours and your neighbor's doors to be open at the same time. If they can take $20, maybe if they are not being watched, i'd try it.
Your neighbors, depending on the circumstance could feel like giving some room but not able to(most people already have their 10x10canopy ... so i wouldn't beat on it.
Either I am sleeping in my van, or I need to convince one of these fucks to drive their own car so we can do the 2 car setup. This is my vacation. I want to have some chill space outside my tent.

skeevy!
Acutally the whole going there in the hopes of hooking up screams creep.

I think this is definitely an issue, Bonnaroo always asks to carpool to save the environment!! BUT if you bring 5 people in a car, you will have very little space. This year I am going down with my GF, and my buddy and his wife. We are taking 2 cars down simply to have more room, I wish we didn't have to but I think we'd be waaaay too crowded if we only took 1!
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.

5 people need 4 tents? ...I have 4 people with one tent this year and i did it last year the same way.... you could at least only use two tents... three at the most... don't take up excessive space...
