Only 30 dollars... I just found out about it... most of the bands are smaller... I've seen Mia Medusa 4 or 5 times and they are great... it's worth checking out, and it's camping!

Hey, hey! Them's my stomping grounds. I'm actually rather excited about this. Some of my friends are in a few of those bands... Useless Heroics are awesome. I have high hopes that this builds to be a great mid-sized fest.

I'm really thinking about going... just bought a bunch of camping supplies that needs some use... and for 30 dollars and a good bit of good, smaller bands on there... it seems worth it...

Extra information: ----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Space Camp Festival To: b Date: May 12, 2009 5:30 PM Subject: RE: info...
Alright!
There are two camping areas, one car-side and hike in camping which is more scattered. There will only be security in the festival grounds and stage areas and those areas are together with only a search checkpoint at the entrance. And yes, there will be food and drink vendors on site as well as ice art exhibits and classic video gaming, horror classic films...No glass bottles please as we want to be safe.
Any other questions just let me know. You can get tickets via message in a week or so.

I can't decide if it's worth the effort or not... just seems like since alot of these bands aren't much more than local so their live shows might not keep me entertained... i don't want to be bored... but at the same time... it's only 30 bucks... and classic video games = bad ass i want some old school zelda and mario brothers! And it would be cool to go to a small fest... i don't see more than 5 thousand showing up (but i could be way off!)

I'm gonna go just to be douche toward Shea and Ryan after their Useless Heroics set and tell them they could of been better, atleast Ryan I haven't busted his berries in a while anyway.
it's next weekend!... looking forward to it. tiny festivals are cool! I went to one earlier in the summer that had less than 1000 people and it was the best freakin time...

I noticed the same thing man. I wonder what happened? I never understood why it seemed like it was completely unprofessional.... only a myspace, no website, no emails... really cheap tickets yet electronic artists from overseas were booked... i don't get it. Kind of seems like the one's who attempted to run it didn't know what they were getting into. I just hope no one's money was stolen...
