Are these shoes comfy with no socks? cause i hate shoes with no socks, but people seem to rave about these (for comfort, not style)
I suggest the Santa Cruz model, they're light and don't look as silly as the clogs. They are alright without socks but like you I'm not really into wearing shoes with no socks.

I love my Crocs. They are ugly as hell but really comfortable. I have the clog style and wear no socks and feel fine all day. Not much traction in mud so be careful if it rains. It easy to slip out of them or roll your ankle.

I dont know about what ads you see on your page but if you scroll up i think Crocs have finally fixed that for you.

Because I just can't help myself and I am sure to be smited for pointing this out (because for some reason people take me pointing out other threads personally)
There is a thread that debates the value of all different shoes

yeah, crocs are unbelieveably unfashionable - but who cares? it's roo! last year i wore my mary j's and didn't once think about my feet the whole weekend. this year, i'll be rocking sanuks, but i have a feeling they'll wear into my heel and the crocs will reemerge
I don't understand the fashion dilema with crocs. Who the hell cares what they look like? Is roo some sort of a fashion show to you people. If they are comfy for you who gives a ..ck what they look like and certainly who gives a ..ck about what someone else thinks they look like. And frankly IMO I don't really think they look so bad anyway. I have purple ones and wore them last year until I started getting blisters from it being so hot and my feet sweating in them had to wear socks with the crocs by Sun. Hows THAT for a fashion statement!!!!
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."

Well aside from being ugly, they are also super risky for dancing in...the thickness + lack of foot stability makes for easily turned ankles.

based on my experience, i have to disagree here; maybe yours weren't the right size, but it's certainly a person to person opinion, and mine were perfect (i should add that i have pretty weak ankles)

Hummm i didnt know recycled plastic shoes where something to become offended by. However Sanuks arent the best looking things in picture but they seem like a lot better choice, just my opinion .
Crocs are hideous there is no doubt about it but I wouldnt wear them around town or whatever but I have no problem wearing them at Roo where comfort is the most important thing. I like sanucks too but I want something that I dont have to have dry if they get wet which is why im going with crocs this year. I have heard about the slippery when your feet sweat thing so if you want to dance or whatever their easy to take off once you get to a show, probelm solved.

I wear Crocs just to piss all of you haters off. That, and they're comfortable as hell. Both in dancing and wanderings.
I do love how people love to hate on them though. Seriously, what other accessory do people feel totally comfortable and appropriate in telling a stranger that what they are wearing looks completely stupid and unfathomable and should be outlawed.
Get a grip people, just cause you don't like something doesn't mean we can't.
And yeah, I have the most obnoxious bright orange crocs ever made probably. And I did that on purpose, just to draw the attention of the haters and see how many people ask me why I bought orange crocs. Not that the color matters anyways... by Saturday afternoon they're coated in mud or dirt or other gunk anyways, and if they're not then you're not having enough fun!

I had Sanuk sidewalk surfers for Roo last year, and they were awesome. Very comfortable for all the walking, and easy to throw on and off if need be. Also cleaned off very easily with a little water. I assume all of this is true for Crocs as well, but Sanuks don't look so ridiculous
I also sing the praises of Crocs but also think they are ugly as hades. I do not wear them in the "real world", just to Roo or when I'm swimming in the river/lake/creek. I never had a problem with support or ankle turning, even when they're wet (see aforementioned swimming use). Be sure to break in any pair of shoes before going to Roo!
I really think the shoe debate boils down to a personal decision; just wear whatever you're most comfortable in, even if they are as ugly as your dog's butt. Some people like Crocs, some like Sanuks, some like flip-flops. But definitely bring at least two pairs of shoes in case your main pair fail you!

Why did this part made me think of that photo ENEMY keeps posting of himself wearing that green thong swimsuit? (j/k, ENEMY)
