They are pretty ugly and a few years ago before I started doing festies I think I swore that I would never wear them but now that ive tried them and realize how comfortable they are I really dont care how ugly they are as long as my feet dont hurt at the end of the day.

If I were to wear crocs, I'd pick out the loudest ones possible. That way when people noticed them (with distaste OR with mutual respect for the comfort) they wouldnt notice how dirty I am. Or out of my mind.
I got some for Roo last year at the suggestion of inforooers, but I think they were too big b/c they just kept slipping off my feet. They are so wide. Maybe the mary jane crocs would be narrow enough but I think I'll stick with my trusty Old Navy flip flops I ended up wearing after the Croc Debacle of '08.
I am a big believer in Crocs at Bonnaroo. I wore Vans the first year and my foot pain was neverending. But the last two years have been golden thanks to my Crocs.
But yes, they are so ugly that the poll above is an insult to poor Rosie. Bonnaroo ain't no fashion show, though.
THE only thing i just can't get around is look and feel of plasticity made rubber substances. Outside of that the look is ugly but i cannot see how they're anything but uncomfortable .

I've always thought that crocs look ridiculous and I won't wear them, but I can understand people wearing them at fests. Everyone knows it sucks to have sore feet and i think i may get a pair of these:

Probably the greatest combination of hideous and comfortable I have ever come across.
I bought them for Roo last year but then didn't end up making it. In the meantime, I have discovered that they are fantastic for long distance driving. I also wear them when doing work where I have to keep taking my shoes on and off (in and out of house ect.). At the same time, I try to avoid wearing them in public as much as often.
I see festies, especially Roo, as being the best place to wear them because fashion is thrown so far out the door and comfort is of the utmost importance. You will see me wearing the ugly black crocs this year, maybe even with socks!

I really don't care how ugly they are. The fact is that they keep my feet happy at Bonnaroo ;D Last year I swapped out between my Crocs and my Keens (Crocs when it was muddy or raining) and never had any issues.
I don't get what the deal is with these things... All I ever hear about is how comfortable they are; and when I put a pair on, they literally felt like they were burning the soles of my feet off. Not an allergic reaction mind you, just too much friction for me.

One year, we had just finished setting up, I sat down, cracked the 1st beer, and... the front strap on my left Teva promptly broke. It was just dangling there on my ankle. The only shoes I had.
In 2007 the ONLY sandle shoes sold (that i could find) ANYWHERE at Bonnaroo were Crocs... I chose half a roll of black duct tape to fix the Teva instead
Probably the greatest combination of hideous and comfortable I have ever come across.
That's a beautiful statement and so very true. I have one pair and HATE the way they look on my feet, but love the way they feel. My little girls have several pairs a piece though. Ugly for mama, cute for kids!
I finally figured out why my Crocs are so wide......they are WIDE. Helloooo? Is anybody home up there? I tried them on last year before Roo so I would know what size I needed then bought them on ebay. Well.....and I have said this a billion times so sorry for repition, when I got them they fit ok but kept slipping off my feet @ Roo. I was wearing them yesterday during a housecleaning binge and looked at them really close and whaddaya know....they are the right size but the WIDES. How did I never see that before? I think the ebay seller must not have mentioned that part in the listing!
Now I want some regular ones to try but don't wanna spend anymore money on shoes for Roo.
