I don't think it is a mistype - they had the same problem last year - if you want to be there Thursday - prepare to stay the night. With the line of cars coming in - there is no way to let anyone from dayparking leave
Another Inforooster had this problem last year - either dreamingtree or Druid

Yeah it was me that had this problem for 2 years in a row and this year I am camping because of it.
They will not let you leave until Friday evening if you come in on Thursday. I have emailed them multiple times with nothing being changed. They apologize for the inconvenience but do nothing about it.....
The only thing I can think of is that you could sleep in your car on the Thursday night in Day Parking - no one seems to monitor it. Obviously that may not work if you just cannot stay the night......
Otherwise Day Parking is wonderful. You arrive through the entrance by the Winery and let the people know you are day parking. The lot is right there by the RVs and is about a 10 minute walk to Centeroo. The exit to leave is right there also so it is nice and easy.

We used Day Parking all weekend last year and had zero problems. We came and went all 4 days. Contrarty to popular belief, day parking was available Thursday and we were able to easily leave the farm at the end of the night (around 1-2 am, technically "Friday"). The only problem was we had to find the Day Parking lot ourselves when we came in Thursday morning because none of the staff knew anything about it. With the use of our trusty map it wasn't too difficult.
We didn't have any problems coming back in either. We arrived at 11:00 on Friday and had no wait and around 1:00 Saturday & Sunday with a 15-20 minute wait.

This is really good to know. I also had no problems for the Fri, Sat or Sun with day parking. No lines, no waiting and a short walk to Centeroo.
Thanks for getting in touch. There will be day parking on Thursday but you will have to enter with the rest of the traffic through the regular tollbooths. Some people find it easier to park in the winery or on one of the lawns where you can pay to park for the day, in order to avoid some of the traffic.

They don't address leaving though.... You enter with the rest of the traffic and the toll booths on the other days anyway.....
Last year, I parked in a neighborhood across the interstate and walked in on Thursday, since I heard there was no day parking that day. Unfortunately, after the lengthy walk in, I saw that they were letting people into the day parking lot.
As for getting out, it didn't seem to be a problem, when I left that night, people were driving past me and getting off the grounds with no problem. You exit through a separate gate than you enter, (it's a gate on Bushy Branch Rd.) so there's no problem with traffic. Like someone said, technically that was Friday (1-2am when I left), but I don't think it makes a difference. The no leaving policy is only supposed to be for campers, to cut down on traffic through the grounds. Since day parking is away from the campgrounds, there's no problem.
