I emailed Bonnaroo, according to the response, "There is no limit on beer or liqour with the exception of no glass." You can just ditch the camping equipment and fill your car with beer. Hope this helps.
There's a liquor store on Harding, a few miles from the Airport, called J. Barleycorn. It's close to the prison. Any cab driver should know where that is

The Frugal Macdoogal is close to the World's Largest Adult bookstore and also across the street from the Tennessee Swinger's Club... which you should also google (unless you're at work--then you should wait)
well the original question has pretty much been answered. it seems as long as your not bringing in glass there not going to give you too much flak. as for cans. we thought we might go with coors light but all of this talk is persuading me to think otherwise. i suggested corona to my girlfriend but she said no way because the cans make it taste bad. is this true for other beers as well? i like to consider myself a beer connoisseur but i don't drink too many beers in cans. yeungling is good but not something i wanna be drinking all day.

The question is will my wife go for ditching the tent to make room for beer?

probably best to transfer glass-bottled liquor into a resealable plastic bottle for roo, huh? mainly talking about jaeger here. my only problem with that is then it's *technically* open container.
I am putting my tequila into a stainless steel thermos. No plastic leeching into the taste. No chance of breaking the bottle.
Note: If you can live without alcohol for the month before Bonnaroo, you will need less alcohol when you get there. Tolerance goes down, and you will not have to spend so much $$.
I'll be bringing some Fat Tire and Oskar Blues along with my El Tesoro. Does anyone know how to get Sly Fox Pilsner in NC? Or Online?
Anyone have an answer to my ice/cooler question in Centeroo?
Yep -- I think I posted it in the "What To Drink" thread. I wrote to bonnaroo.com and they said coolers with ice ARE allowed, along with sealed water bottles.
If you want, I can forward the e-mail and you can stick it in the pocket of your cooler in case security gives you any lip. Just send your e-mail via PM if so.

From the 2009 Bonnaroo Info guide, on bonnaroo.com
"Q- What will we be allowed to bring into the campgrounds? (Coolers, food, beer, kegs, stoves, etc.) A- You can bring coolers with a consumable amount of provisions into the camping area; however, they cannot be brought into the Centeroo / concert field. SMALL grills and camping stoves will be allowed. No kegs, No pig roasts, no 55-gallon drums!"
