ROOM FOR 2 (POSSIBLY 3) FROM NH, MA, OR CT

Hey Hey!!

My name is Rik...my 4th BONNAROO this year...and always check the posts for potential cost sharing. I'm in Manchester NH and planning on leaving in the afternoon Tuesday, June 9th. They DO open the gates Wednesday night contrary to popular belief, so...the plan is to get inside early Wednesday evening...set up...meet the neighbors...party some...get a good nights rest...then wake up relatively refreshed for the TRUE party!! I'm a cool, chill, down to Earth, 420 friendly cat. I definately bring a "unique spirit" to any party I attend!!

I drive a reliable 2004 Jeep Liberty with a semi-kickin stereo. Last couple years I've had 3 riders, but I think it was a mighta been a lil too much, passenger/gearwise, so I'm thinking even though it would be a lil more expensive...it'd be a more comfortable journey if it was just me and two others. It really depends on how much gear the passengers were planning on hauling...

Last year...with gas prices hovering around $4.00/gallon, it was like $600 round trip for gas. Hopefully it won't be that high this summer, but to be fair, the expectation would be to split the gas costs equally between all passengers, including myself. So, to estimate...if it was $3.00/gallon...it would be $450 round trip...equating to $150 each if it was me and 2 others...Just a roundabout estimate...

More than likely there will be a couple carloads of other people following in a convoy...Last year I managed to rope together 5 cars and 17 people from New England (YANKS!!) before going thru the gate, several of them from Maine, actually. It paid off too...we had an AMAZING joint site. I usually have the 20' X 30' BIG TOP PARTY TENT, shower tent (hey, I like to be clean!), and even a (break in case of emergency!) portable pooper...
